The Document Quick View modal provides a quick glance at the Document. You can navigate to this modal by selecting the Document Row (not the Document Title) from the Document Catalogue or wherever the Document is shown throughout the application.

This is designed to be a lighter view of the Document but still include key information as highlighted below.

Document Preview

The Document will show a preview on the left hand side of the page, this enables Users to scroll through the Document to read and assess the contents. The zoom of the preview can be adjusted by using your OS controls for example pressing Ctrl and rotating your mouse wheel.

The following file types are supported within the Previewer:

  • PDF

  • DOCX (these are converted to PDF)

  • JPG

  • JPEG

  • PNG

  • BMP

Users can search within the content of the Document shown within the previewer by using the Browser search functionality by using Ctrl+F (or equivalent dependant on the browser).

Practice Group

This section confirms which Practice Group the Document is attributed to.

If you are a Reviewer of a Practice Group then you will be able to view and modify the practice groups and all metadata within the sections below. If you are not a Reviewer then you will only be granted view access to the Documents metadata.

Reviewers can choose to assign the Document to a new Practice Group provided that they are also a Reviewer in that group.

Further information on Practice Groups can be found within the Practice Group section of the User Guide.

Download

There is an option within this modal to Download the Document. This allows a user to Download a Document to their Local File Storage.

This functionality is feature driven via the ‘Download’ feature and can be enabled/disabled via Feature Enablement.

This functionality also requires the ‘Download Documents’ permission configured within Application Roles.
