Live Linking

Feature only available for documents nominated from iManage and where iManage is the configured Document Knowledge Store

Live Linking enables the synchronisation of Blueprint Documents with their original iManage source Document. This is a one-way sync whereby the Blueprint Document is blocked from editing in Blueprint and any content/version updates in iManage are automatically synced to Blueprint and the latest update set as the Blueprint published version.

Enablement

The feature can be enabled from the Document Full View page and specifically the Live Linking card:

Clicking enable will lock the editing of the Document and publish new versions following any changes made to the original iManage document.

Restrictions

For Documents to be eligible for enabling live linking: 

  • All versions in Blueprint must come from the same source store  

  • All versions must have been nominated from iManage 

  • The source store containing the document must be enabled  

  • The Live Linking feature must be enabled

  • A Knowledge Store must be enabled
