Practice Group Security

ANALYSIS

Timeline

This feature is targeted for June 2026.

Feature Overview

The Practice Group Security feature introduces granular access control within Blueprint by extending Practice Group permissions.

  • All documents are associated with a Practice Group that has designated Reviewers who can approve and edit documents.

  • This feature adds a Viewer role, ensuring only users assigned as either a Reviewer or Viewer within the Practice Group can access those documents.

Key Objective

Strengthen document security and confidentiality by restricting access to Practice Group documents based on defined roles. This ensures that only authorised users can view or edit content, improving compliance and reducing risk.

Core Benefits

Granular Access Control
Introduces Viewer-level permissions, ensuring only authorised users within a Practice Group can access its documents.

Improved Security and Compliance
Reduces the risk of unauthorised access to sensitive documents by enforcing Practice Group based permissions.

Enhanced Governance
Supports structured workflows by clearly defining who can view, edit, and approve documents within each Practice Group.
