Full REST compatibility for the iManage platform.
Flexible authentication to support cloud and on-premises identity providers.
Document nomination and approval workflows.
Capabilities to maintain a live link between source and Knowledge Documents.
Document grouping through Bundle curation.
Flexible permissions systems allowing administrators to shape their own roles.
Re-designed layout, focusing on responsive design, accessibility, and user experience (UX).
Email notifications following key workflow events.
Simple and self-driven customisation through intuitive administration options to allow customers to personalise their Blueprint experience
Core features are explained in more details below:
Document Curation
Users can nominate new knowledge from either their local file storage or directly from iManage (Sharepoint also coming soon). Once selected, users can amend the title and description, assign the Practice Group and any relevant metadata to the document(s). The metadata options are configured by customers to ensure that only the relevant data is captured as part of nomination.
Once documents are submitted the configured Practice Group reviewers are notified and can then approve or reject the documents ensuring that only useful knowledge is made available within Blueprint.
Knowledge Bundling
Users will be able to group knowledge documents together and search for bundles. This will be a key feature and enhance the value of the individual documents, for example, if there are a group of documents related to a similar area of law, case, or precedent then these can be grouped together, and the entire bundle can be browsed. Key features include:
Creation of bundles
Documents can be added either from the document search, through the document nomination process or directly from the bundle itself
Browse and search with advanced filters and sorting options.
Document browsing
Users will be able to search using a keyword search on the title, description and content of their documents along with the option to use advanced search filters. In addition, users will be able to browse the entire catalogue of knowledge. The catalogue can also be sorted by set filter options.
